Wireless Apple CarPlay®, wireless Android Auto®, Bluetooth® audio, and a 7-inch optically bonded QLCD touchscreen with RGB illumination — all in an OEM-fit chassis engineered specifically for the Street Glide and Ultra batwing fairing, with handlebar controls built in, no separate module required.
The batwing Street Glide and Ultra fairing has its own head unit architecture — the WHD.SG is engineered specifically for it from the ground up: OEM bolt pattern, OEM AM/FM antenna connection, OEM wiring harness compatibility, and built-in handlebar control integration. The result is a modern infotainment system that looks and functions like it was always there.

iPhone and Android riders — Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto connect automatically each ride. Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze, Spotify, calls, and messages are all on the 7-inch display, controlled via touchscreen or the built-in OEM handlebar control integration — no separate module to buy or install.
Riders who want a clean, complete installation — The 53-centimetre (21-inch) USB cable routes to either side of the fairing for a tidy finish. Handlebar controls are integrated from the factory, the OEM AM/FM antenna connects directly, and no dash modifications or trim panels are required.
Building toward a bigger system — The 5V RCA outputs for front, rear, and subwoofer, active crossovers, and 13-band EQ give you a solid foundation for external amplifiers. The built-in 200W Class A/B amplifier handles upgraded speakers directly in the meantime.
Fitment
The SoundStream WHD.SG is designed exclusively for the 1998–2013 Harley-Davidson® Street Glide and Ultra batwing fairing. It is not compatible with Road Glide models — the sharknose Road Glide fairing requires the SoundStream WHD.RG. It mounts using the OEM hardware with no brackets, trim panels, or antenna adapters required.

No headset support. The WHD.SG does not integrate with wired or wireless helmet headsets or Bluetooth comms systems. If wireless rider and passenger audio is a priority, see the SoundStream Reserve SG.V2.
CB radio not retained. The WHD.SG does not support CB radio functionality.
Basic handlebar controls only. The WHD.SG handles volume, track, and call functions from the OEM bar switches. Cursor navigation of on-screen menus is not supported.
Will not activate OEM Boom!™ amplifiers. If your bike has a factory Boom!™ amplifier fitted, it will not be driven by the WHD.SG. An aftermarket amplifier will be required. Contact MAA before ordering if you are unsure about your current setup.
CVO models — check your amplifier brand. Most 1998–2013 Street Glide and Ultra CVO models have MTX-branded factory speakers and amplifiers, or no factory amplifier at all. These bikes are plug-and-play compatible with the WHD.SG, and MTX amplifiers can be retained. However, many CVO models — particularly Ultra and Limited variants — use a Harman/Kardon amplifier mounted under the Tour-Pak. Harman amplifiers cannot be retained and require full replacement and rewiring. Check your amplifier brand before ordering.

Android Auto® connects wirelessly and brings your Android apps to the WHD.SG's screen with no cable needed. Google Maps, Waze, Spotify, and messaging apps are all accessible from the display or via voice. Google Assistant handles natural voice commands — directions, messages, weather, fuel stops — without taking your hands off the bars. Real-time traffic data through Waze or Google Maps keeps you on the fastest route.
7" QLCD — Optically Bonded Display with RGB Illumination and Phantom Buttons
The 7-inch QLCD is optically bonded — the touchscreen glass bonds directly to the display panel, eliminating the air gap that causes glare and condensation in standard screens. The result is higher contrast, better sunlight readability, and no fogging on cold mornings. The capacitive touchscreen responds accurately with gloved hands. RGB illumination on the faceplate allows the display surround to be colour-matched to the bike's lighting. Phantom buttons on the faceplate are invisible when the unit is off, appearing only when the unit is active — keeping the OEM aesthetic intact. LED indicator lights are built into the front panel using the OEM connector, maintaining the factory look through the full installation.
Bluetooth® Audio and Hands-Free Calling
Independent of CarPlay and Android Auto, the WHD.SG supports Bluetooth® wireless audio streaming and hands-free phone calling. Stream music or take calls over a direct Bluetooth® connection when a full CarPlay or Android Auto session isn't needed.
Street Glide-Specific Installation — OEM Fit, Handlebar Controls Built In
The WHD.SG is engineered exclusively for the 1998–2013 Street Glide and Ultra batwing fairing. It mounts using the OEM hardware — no brackets, no trim panels, no modifications to the fairing required. The OEM AM/FM radio antenna connects directly with no adapters. A 53-centimetre (21-inch) USB cable is included and can be routed to either side of the fairing for clean installation. Handlebar controls are integrated directly into the unit — volume, track, and call functions operate from the factory bar switches without a separate handlebar control module.
IPx5 Water Resistance — Built for the Road
The WHD.SG's faceplate is rated IPx5 — protected against direct water spray from any direction. The optically bonded display eliminates the internal air gap where moisture collects, silicone gaskets seal the faceplate perimeter, and sealed internals resist vibration and water ingress over the long term. Built for rain, road grime, and wash-downs.
200W Class A/B Amplifier with Full DSP
The WHD.SG includes a built-in 200W 4-channel Class A/B amplifier, 2-ohm stable — enough power to drive upgraded Street Glide and Ultra fairing speakers directly, or to serve as the head unit in a multi-amplifier build. Five-volt RCA outputs for front, rear, and subwoofer channels give downstream amplifiers a clean, strong signal. The 13-band digital equaliser includes preset staging effects and manual adjustment. High-pass crossovers cover front and rear channels independently; low-pass and subsonic crossovers cover the subwoofer output.
Camera Input
An RCA video input with 12V trigger support and an on-screen shortcut allows connection of a rear or parking camera. The camera feed displays on the 7-inch screen, triggered automatically or manually via the shortcut.
SiriusXM® Ready
The WHD.SG is hardware-ready for the SiriusXM® SXV300 vehicle connect tuner (sold separately). SiriusXM® satellite radio services are not available in Australia, but the capability is present for riders who spend time in North America.
