Factory amplifier bypass and radio harness kit for 2014 to 2023 Harley Touring and CVO models, covering the fairing, Tour-Pak and saddlebag amplifiers in one kit
The SaddleTramp BC-9726 does two jobs in one loom. It bypasses the factory amplifiers on a 2014 to 2023 Harley Touring or CVO Touring model, and it provides the plug-and-play connection and switched power your aftermarket head unit needs. One side is a vehicle-specific adapter that plugs straight into the original radio and amplifier connectors. The other side is colour-coded flying leads you connect or solder to the aftermarket radio. Nothing on the factory loom is cut. Backed by a 3-year SaddleTramp warranty.
This is an integration harness, not an amplifier, speaker or head unit. It is what makes the electrical side of a full system change reversible, so the bike can go back to standard without a single spliced wire.
Who This Is For
You are fitting an aftermarket head unit, an aftermarket amplifier, or both to a 2014 to 2023 Harley Touring or CVO Touring bike, and you want the factory amplifiers out of the signal path rather than fighting them. That covers a straightforward Street Glide radio swap right through to a CVO with a fairing amplifier, a Tour-Pak amplifier and one or two saddlebag amplifiers to remove. If your bike is a 1998 to 2013 CVO, the SaddleTramp BC-9725 is the correct kit for that generation. If you only need to split the rear audio signal on an Ultra Limited rather than bypass anything, use the BC-9717 rear audio T-harness instead.
What This Is Best For
- Getting the factory amplifiers out of the way. On a Boom! equipped bike the standard amplifier sits between the radio and every speaker. Leave it in place and it caps what an aftermarket system can do, because every signal still passes through OEM processing and OEM power. The BC-9726 bypasses it at the connector, so your Cicada FLX amplifier drives the speakers directly.
- A radio install without cutting the factory plugs. The vehicle-specific side plugs into the original radio connectors and carries switched and constant power across, so the head unit wakes and sleeps with the bike. The colour-coded side is standard aftermarket wiring you land on the new radio, which means a wiring fault is diagnosed on your side of the loom, not inside the bike's.
- Multi-amplifier CVO builds. The kit includes bypasses for the front fairing amplifier, the Tour-Pak amplifier and the left saddlebag amplifier, plus the right saddlebag amplifier on 2018 to 2023.5 CVO Street Glide. On a bike with four factory amplifiers, that is the difference between a clean afternoon and a day of unpicking looms.
- Keeping the install reversible. Nothing is cut, so the bike returns to standard in minutes. That matters at trade-in, and it matters if a dealer ever needs to diagnose something unrelated.
- Factory-style saddlebag speaker plugs. Included for 2014 to 2023.5 models and 2011 to 2013 CVO Street Glide and Road Glide, so replacement bag speakers connect on OEM-style terminations rather than crimped joins inside a bag lid.
Digital fader control and what you give up
Removing or bypassing the OE amplifiers can cost you digital fader control from the factory radio, because that function lives in the amplifier you are taking out. In practice this only matters if you are keeping the standard Boom! head unit. If you are fitting a Soundstream WHD14+ or HDHU.V2, fader control comes from the new head unit and nothing is lost. If you intend to keep the factory radio and you want front-to-rear balance, talk to us on 07 3350 1354 before ordering so we can work through it with you.
The Bottom Line
The BC-9726 is the harness that lets a 2014 to 2023 Touring or CVO Touring bike take an aftermarket head unit and aftermarket amplification without a single cut wire, and it handles every factory amplifier location on the bike rather than just the fairing. Add it to cart above. If you are building the full system, pair it with the MAA 4-channel T-harness to take the head unit output straight into a Cicada amplifier.

How the kit works
The BC-9726 is a two-sided harness. The vehicle side terminates in OEM-style connectors that mate with the factory radio and amplifier plugs already on the bike. The aftermarket side is colour-coded flying lead to the standard automotive convention, which you connect or solder to the new head unit. On the road: because the factory plugs are never opened, a fault is always on the aftermarket side of the join, which is the side you can see and reach.
The amplifier bypass legs break the factory amplifier out of the signal path at its own connector rather than at the speaker. The standard amplifier stays physically on the bike or comes out entirely, and either way the speakers are fed from your amplifier. On the road: full output from the aftermarket amplifier, with no OEM processing, OEM gain structure or OEM power limit sitting in front of it.
The kit also carries power for the head unit through the vehicle-specific side, so switched and constant supply come from the factory connector rather than a tapped accessory circuit. On the road: the radio powers down with the ignition, which is what keeps it off the battery on a bike that sits between rides.
What the kit bypasses
- Front fairing amplifier. All supported CVO models.
- Tour-Pak amplifier (rear)
- Left saddlebag amplifier (rear)
- Right saddlebag amplifier. 2018 to 2023.5 CVO Street Glide only.
- Saddlebag speaker plugs. 2014 to 2023.5, and 2011 to 2013 CVO Street Glide and Road Glide.
What else the install may need
A harness handles the electrical connection and nothing else. Depending on the bike and the head unit you have chosen, the install may also want a dash kit, an antenna adapter, or an interface module to retain handlebar audio controls and other factory functions. On a Boom! equipped 2014 to 2023 Touring bike fitting a WHD14+, that module is the WHD.UNLOC. Tell us your bike and your head unit and we will confirm the full parts list before you order.
